Red-necked phalarope

Browsing

The Red-necked phalarope is this ever-so charming wader with a highly developed swimming ability it uses to full potential when foraging. The female is surprisingly more colorful than the male. I eagerly hoped this very specimen would swim into the very spot just for a second or two and despite the size on the pond I was extremely lucky
